About Me

I have been working as a Senior Lecturer at Khwopa Engineering College, Purbanchal University in Nepal and previously served as a Lecturer at the School of Engineering at Pokhara University. Prior to that, I worked in the software industry as a senior programmer for over six years. Therefore, I have extensive experience in both the academic and software industries.

I received my Ph.D. in computer science and technology from the Key Laboratory of Network Data Science & Technology at the Institute of Computing Technology, University of Chinese Academy of Sciences (ICT-UCAS) in Beijing, China in 2020. My research, supervised by Professor Xueqi Cheng, focused on Machine Learning (ML), Deep Learning (DL), Reinforcement Learning (RL), and Big Data, particularly in the areas of parameter optimization and variable selection and online and offline policy evaluation in RL. I earned my Master of Engineering (M.E.) degree in computer science and technology from Beijing Institute of Technology (BIT) in 2015, under the supervision of Professor Yanlong Zhai. During my master's studies, I published a conference paper as the first author at the WASA 2014 international conference in Harbin, China. My master's research focused on Big Data. I received my Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in computer science from the National University of Computer and Emerging Sciences (NUCES-FAST) in Pakistan in 2005. I am also an Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) DBA and an Oracle Certified Associate (OCA) Developer.

I am passionate about research and am always eager to learn more and explore the fields of software engineering, programming languages, databases, and artificial intelligence. My research interests include Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Reinforcement Learning, Computer Vision, and Big Data etc.

AMERICAN SIGN LANGUAGE (ASL) INTERPRETATION USING CNN (Year: 2022)

Sign language is one of the oldest and most natural form of language for communication, however most people do not know sign language and interpreters are very difficult to come by, we have come up with a real time method using neural networks for fingerspelling based American sign language. In our method, the hand is first passed through a filter and after the filter is applied the hand is passed through a classifier which predicts the class of the hand gestures.
We are trying to interpret sign language based on CNN using python in order to minimize the verbal exchange gap among D&M and non-D&M people turns into a want to make certain effective conversation among all.
